My role has progressed during my time here to include assisting with the management of the personal tax compliance service and supporting the tax partner and manager in a wide range of tax advisory matters including inheritance tax, capital gains tax and residence and domicile issues.

Laura Patrick
My day-to-day role includes dealing with personal tax compliance, corporation tax returns, the preparation of P11D’s, various VAT-related matters and the preparation of returns and notifications for employment-related securities schemes.
Amy Brown
I joined the Agriculture and Property team in November 2017 as a qualified Accounts Senior, I jumped at this opportunity to progress my career and specialise in agriculture.

I work closely with the firm’s larger corporate and non-corporate clients in a variety of industries, including UK subsidiaries, multinational companies and multi-academy trusts. This involves providing audit, accounting, tax and business advisory services.
Teresa Hazelton
My position at Ellacotts LLP entails processing client accounts and tax computations, for Sole traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies. I manage the bookkeeping for a number of clients, submit VAT returns, and I undertake several client visits during the year.
Sue Findlay
As well as my reception duties, I help out in the office in many ways. Typically, I can be making drinks for clients, ordering lunches for client meetings and maybe later assisting with the PA, Helen. With many other jobs in between! The variety is endless and I never know what unusual challenges could be waiting just around the corner.
James Slater
I joined the Agriculture and Property team at Ellacotts in July 2017, completing my AAT studies alongside my practical work experience. This was my first experience of working in practice, and I am now progressing through further studies to become ACA qualified.
Helen Keating
After starting at my local building society as a part-time receptionist, I worked my way up to my greatest achievement, becoming Branch Operations Manager where I was responsible for the branch network, training staff and ensuring service standards were met.
Chris Slatter
As a Financial Adviser, I look to build long-term relationships with clients and have a number of clients that came to me when I first started my career and who I still deal with now.
