James King
The two I do most regularly are that of preparing accounts – this is the main part of my role at Ellacotts. I draft annual accounts for a variety of businesses that are in different industries on a daily basis. I also prepare corporation tax – whilst preparing clients’ accounts I also prepare corporation tax returns for them.
Millie Jaffer
My job entails preparing year-end accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for clients. I often help advise clients with any enquiries they may have, and deliver them with solutions. This can sometimes be in the form of assisting clients on using the Xero software.
Munib Khan
My typical work day involves me preparing annual accounts, VAT returns and tax returns for individuals and companies. The variety of work I am exposed to means I am constantly challenged and always learning, while also gaining valuable experience.

My job involves completing bookkeeping and management accounts for various clients. I trained as a Management Accountant in industry until I took a break to have my three children.
Karen Aceto
Ellacotts has given me the opportunity to develop my career by doing what I love most – assisting farmers with their accounts. I enjoy building client relationships, being involved in discussing their future plans and being able to attend agricultural shows and prospect client meetings.
Hannah Andrews
I love my role as it is so varied and I get to work with so many teams: Reception, Corporate, HR and Marketing. The main aspects of my role are to cover reception, Company Secretarial work for clients and assist the HR team with a number of tasks, including booking various courses for the accountants and helping with the organisation of the staff away day and Christmas parties.
Harriet Griffith
On a daily basis, I prepare year-end accounts, business tax computations and VAT returns, as well as assisting clients with a range of queries, ranging from software support to the most tax-efficient way of purchasing machinery.
Claire Green
I work in the Tax Department and provide wider support to other teams within the business. My role covers a variety of tasks, working closely with managers and partners in achieving our aims and objectives.
