Helen Ross

I have been working as a Bookkeeper in the Outsourcing team within the Corporate Services department at Ellacotts since March 2014, following a 12-year career in the insurance industry.

I have completed the AAT Foundation Certificate in Bookkeeping Level 2 and I am currently working towards completing Level 3. I always welcome opportunities to progress my knowledge in the bookkeeping industry.

My clients vary from small sole traders to larger international companies with multi-currency accounts, preparing monthly management reports and quarterly VAT returns. I love the variety and diversity of clients that I deal with and the unique challenges each client brings with them. I have clients whose bookkeeping requirements range from traditional ledger books, to excel spreadsheets, to accounting systems such as Xero and to bespoke accounting systems.

When I am not at the office, you can usually find me down at the local gym taking part in an exercise class or two, or at home mastering a new crafting technique such as crochet or macramé.
