My career started out as a trainee accountant in 1989, however, I soon realised that this was not for me. I moved internally into financial services and really enjoyed the work.

In 1992, I went to work for an IFA in Witney and was there for 18 years. I spent a couple of years with what is now a national firm based in Wokingham. I then took a role with a firm in Chipping Norton where I stayed until I joined Ellacotts in June 2016. I joined Ellacotts as a Manager and was promoted to Director in 2018.

As a Financial Adviser, I aim to provide a high level of service and build long term relationships with clients. I have a number of clients that came to me when I first started my career who I still deal with now. I enjoy my role because every person I meet has a different advice need, which means every day brings a different challenge. Over the years I have gained extensive knowledge of pre and post retirement planning, including using both pensions and investments to achieve the desired results.

Away from the office, I enjoy spending time with my family, cooking and travelling. I also follow Oxford United although I do not get to as many games as I would like to.
