After completing my Bsc in accounting and finance I joined Ellacotts in June 2024 as a a tax trainee in the tax and wealth planning department. This position allows me to apply my knowledge to real-life accounting scenarios while serving clients to the best of my abilities. I spend most of my day completing personal tax returns for clients.
Ellacotts is a great place to work for a myriad of reasons. The training provided to me has been really helpful in making me feel comfortable within the role, No two tax returns are the same and the more returns I complete the more I am able to evolve my skillset. Everyone in the office is very friendly; and happy to help which creates a welcoming environment that I enjoy being a part of. What I find most attractive about Ellacotts is their support for trainees in the early stages of their careers, and how everyone in the office is happy and willing to provide assistance not only with professional qualifications but also with day-to-day work.
In my free time, I enjoy baking and reading crime novels. One of my all time favourites is the ABC Murders by Agatha Christie.
