Laura Patrick

I am a Tax Senior in the Tax and Wealth Planning department and have worked at Ellacotts since October 2017.

I started work in a small accountancy firm in the West Midlands, and in 2011 was given the opportunity to work within the personal tax team where I gained valuable tax experience. I spent a few years working in industry for a small design and build company as the Financial Controller, prior to starting at Ellacotts.

My day-to-day role includes dealing with personal tax compliance, corporation tax returns, the preparation of P11D’s, various VAT-related matters and the preparation of returns and notifications for employment-related securities schemes.

My role has progressed during my time with Ellacotts; I enjoy getting involved in the variety of tax work available and dealing with different clients, there is always something new and interesting to deal with.

Away from the office, I can be found spending time outdoors with my young family, catching up with family and friends and reading. I also do voluntary work within my local Girls’ Brigade company, where I have been a member since I was 5 years old.
